Switchgear upgrades include replacement of analog type meters with digital metering and communicative capabilities.  This will enable precise control for energy management.  Obsolete circuit breakers can be upgraded to accept the latest technologies.  Bus bars can be fabricated and installed on-site along with new, high temperature, insulators and supports.  By reconditioning the existing equipment, substantial costs and more importantly, down-time can be reduced.
